writing

I'm surprised by how mediocre my blog post writing is.

Well, all this mathematics I'm learning may be responsible.

hey I suppose I could tell you that your writing isn't mediocre and so on and so forth. Instead, I'm just going to tell you that it doesn't matter what your level of writing is, because
a) your blog is one among millions of blogs out there, so the chances of anyone other than your friends reading your blog are pretty damn low, and your friends aren't reading the blog for quality writing-they're there to see what's going on in your life or/and in your head
b) the more you write, the better you get, as long as you're aware that you do need to improve - most people just give up after the first couple of posts when they realize simon and schuster are not beating down their doors to offer them a publishing contract based on their initial posts about their navel lint or whatever
c) once you're a big-time econ prof wisecracking into your coffee, you can always tell people abt this blog and your attempts at writing to show them that you're also human and fallible and all of that. Also, you spell better than 'Proffesor Lopez'.

besides, all things taken into consideration, you aren't really all that bad - I thought that monty python sketch thing was good.
